Radial Design (Paddle Wheel) for a Cyclone Application

We designed this small but heavy-duty radial blower for a cyclone dust collection application. It included a direct-drive, arrangement 4V configuration with a backplate on the wheel to protect the motor from any particulate in the airstream. The fan was painted a custom green to match our OEM partner’s equipment line.

The cyclone separator is part of the air filtration and dust collection system for a recycling operation. It separates heavier particulates out of the airstream using centrifugal force. This blower moves the process air through the cyclone and over to the baghouse.
